Dextro Energy is the official title sponsor of the Triathlon World Championship Series.

Following a successful launch season in 2009, the Dextro Energy Triathlon is to enter its second round in 2010. The series of 7 competitions held on 4 different continents will culminate with the crowning of the new Triathlon World Champion. This year's competition locations are again, attractive cities that provide impressive backdrops.

On 11 April, the opening event for the second season of the Dextro Energy Triathlon will be held in Sydney. Following a stop in Seoul, South Korea's capital, in May, the triathlon will be hosted by Madrid, one of the previous year's competition locations. In July, Hamburg will welcome the athletes – one week prior the London event. A further stop on the way to the grand final in Budapest will be made in the famous ski resort of Kitzbühel. Then, on the 11 September, Hungary's capital will host the celebrations to honour the new World Champion.

The Dextro Energy Triathlon is not only open to professional competitors. Amateur triathletes, too, will have the opportunity to compete over various distances in attempts to beat their personal bests. As in the previous year, Dextro Energy will be entering its own, Dextro Energy Team into these open competitions.

Beginning in 2009, the triathlon world champion will be determined in a series of competitions held on four continents.
